I'm a software engineer at IBM Cloud based in the Bay Area, where I work on software-defined networking infrastructure. I studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Berkeley.

I care about building things that are reliable, thoughtful, and well-crafted — the same qualities that draw me to mechanical watches, Japanese design, and good hardware. I think the best software, like the best objects, disappears into the background and just works.

When I'm not in front of a screen, I'm usually on a trail, tracking flight prices to somewhere new, or down a rabbit hole about something I probably don't need to know as much about as I do.
